WHY WE REMEMBER
Whenever I can, I work really hard when covering the Olympic games overseas, trying to tell the stories of how #USSOLDIERS have given their lives to establish and support peace across this beautiful world of ours. As we look back at some of my Olympics coverage, you'll see stories like this one that honors American hero activity. This is from our work in South Korea, where in Seoul, I found the name of my grandfather's brother on a memorial. He was a poor kid from rural Utah who didn't get to come home. His body still has never been found. I'll post a specific story about him another day, but this one honors all American soldiers who have sacrificed on the Korean Peninsula. Feel free to share if this touches you. Make that SHARE button an affirmation of your appreciation for American Soldiers then and now.
